Coins for Kids... PrinterLogic Serves!

Posted by Thomas Stucki on January 14th, 2016

At PrinterLogic, we pride ourselves on our unique culture and promote a family and service-oriented workplace. Employees are allotted a “Service Day” each year and are encouraged to dedicate a full day to serving the community. In addition to the Service Day, we decided to incorporate a PrinterLogic Company Service Day that focused on giving back during the holiday season.

Teaming up with Coins for Kids, a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing Christmas for disadvantaged children throughout Washington County, Utah, we adopted a very deserving family of five. Through the generosity of the company and our employees, we raised more than $1,000.

Coins for Kids provided a wish list for each child. Five teams of PrinterLogic employees worked to find the perfect gifts. With the presents purchased, we hauled them back to the office where we set up a gift wrapping station. Each present was perfectly wrapped and topped with bright bows.

While we had a blast shopping, the gift delivery was the highlight of the experience. With two car loads of gifts and our very own Santa, we arrived at the family's house. We will never forget the look on the kids' faces when they opened the door to Santa and his 'elves' balancing armfuls of presents. The presents were placed under their fully-decorated Christmas tree, while the kids took turns taking pictures with Santa. At one point, one of the kids cried out, “I know this will be the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER.” After countless hugs and many thank you's, we wished the grateful family a Merry Christmas and were on our way.

The greatest gift is the gift of giving, and PrinterLogic was blessed with that gift this year! Adopting a family was a humbling experience. We were so lucky to be a part of it and look forward to teaming up with Coins for Kids for many years to come!
