Companies are selected through a thorough examination based on detailed information provided on their employee programs and benefits. Anonymous surveys were then given to company employees, asking them to comment on benefits, management, working conditions, culture, opportunities for growth and overall satisfaction.

Companies were divided into categories based on the number of full-time employees, and awards are given based on company size: micro, small, medium, large and extra large.
