Browser hangs when opening the portal page

When some end users try to open the portal the browser hangs or freezes.

The Printer Installer Client did not install correctly. Uninstall and install the client.

  1. Close all browsers
  2. Uninstall the Printer Installer Client using add / remove programs.
  3. Install the client by opening a browser and browsing to the portal, then click on the "Install Client" link or click on a printer and you will be prompted to install the client.
  4. The portal should now open without freezing or locking the browser.
