Profile Features

Printer Driver Profiles are a collection of printer device settings and preferences that are applied to the printer when it is installed on client computers.  Printer Driver Profiles contain all of the settings the driver has.

Profile features:

  • Create different profiles for each printer object even if the printers share the same driver.
  • Use one profile for multiple printer objects using the same driver.
  • Specify different profiles for each operating system type (XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc.)
